Hello,

I upgraded to joomla 3.4.0 and combined with Virtuemart 3.0.6.2 and there seems to be a conflict with the Boss template.

Can you please advise?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Hi Eri

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hi Ciarán,

I have only added some custom css code you have helped me with in the relevant field of the Boss template under the joomla administration.

Should I keep this code somewhere? Will this code be lost after you upgrade the template?

Regards,

Eri

Do I have to download it from your site and install it again via joomla administration?

What steps should I follow, as the problem still exists!

Thank you Eri

Is there a time where server load would be at its least for your site? We have been trying to work in resolving your issue however we are finding your site extremely slow to work with (typical page load taking 40+ seconds).

I have noticed however that a new test link to a Virtuemart category worked without issue which may help you to know.

Note we called the menu item 'Test' which we have temporarily disabled.

Hi Eri

The issues apears to be related the your Virtuemart links. Creating new links to your Virtuemart categories will resolve the issue.

Hi Ciarán,

The problem seems to have been the fact that I defined Boss as the virtuemart shop template and that created the conflict. As soon as I changed it to front shop's default template the problem solved.

Thank you again for your help. Now it works fine!
