Hello Ciaran,
On my test website I want to adjust the blog view under the news items. Therefore I changed the override in the template directory 'html'. >t emplates > j51_ariana > html > com_content > category > blog_item.php but unfortunately nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Hello

A way to ensure your are editing the correct override is to disable SEF URLs. The component and view will be displayed in the URL.

You appear to using the template override (j51_ariana > html > com_content > category > alternative_item.php)

Hello Ciaran,

Thanks! I managed to change the file alternative_item.php to my needs.
Only thing is that only the first blog item changes, not the second and third (and so on).
I tried to alter the file alternative_children.php and this doesn't seem to be the right file to get the changes in the second and third blog item.
I also tried a lot of other things but I can't get where this should be done.
Maybe you can poiont me again in the right direction?
Thanks!

Greetings,
Ton

Hi Ton

Does changing the # Leading Articles or # Intro Articles values in your menu item settings effect this?

Hello Ciaran,

I'v changed the #Leading Articles and #Intro Articles both in different ways but this has unfortunately no effect on this issue.

Thank you Ton

Looking into this it appears your changes are been applied to each blog item however it is only in the first item that the extension is been loaded. If you check your blog source you will find the following in each...

<!-- M4M toegevoegd Social Share buttons -->
<div style="float:right;"><?php echo JHtml::_('content.prepare', '{loadposition social-share}'); ?></div>
<div style="clear: both;"> </div>
<!-- EINDE M4M toegevoegd Social Share buttons -->

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with this extension to be able to offer any advice.

Hello Ciaran,

No problem, thanks for checking this issue.
I will ask the developer of the extension, maybe he can help.
Thanks!
