Are the Joomla 4 versions of templates backward compatible for Joomla 3.x ? If I have an existing J3 template is the new J4 template installed as an upgrade or do I need to reconfigure the new version for my site layout?

Hi Greg

Sorry to say templates are not backward compatible. If you revert back to Joomla 3, you will need to install the Joomla 3 version of the template via your Extensions Manager. Bar the template install, no other configuration should be required.
