Greetings... I'm using Arkadia and putting in a sidebar. the system content (article) isn't moving over quite far enough to account for the sidebar space. I could adjust the sidebar width, I suppose, but shouldn't the article automagically adjust for the sidebar widths?

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Best,

Daniel

Hi Daniel

Yes all working as it should your component area should extend to the full width available beside your side column. Would you have a URL to an example of this issue?

Hey Ciaran, thanks for your response. You can see this at http://danielbmusic.com/test3/index.php/sounding (and on a couple of other pages on this test site.

In the meantime I'll be continuing to tweak...

Thanks again for looking into this,

Daniel

just discovered that if I put the slideshow module on the right sidebar everything formats correctly... put it back on the left and the main content margin and the contenttop (a-b-c, doesn't matter) margin bleeds over...

Hi Daniel

It appears your slideshow modules width is set wider than the width set on your side column. You should have an option within your slideshow settings to adjust its width. Alternatively you can force its width by adding the following CSS to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..
#fpssContainer109.fpss-template-simple {width: 200px;}
Thanks, Ciaran, that was it. I'm starting to get the hang of how all these component/module/template relationships work and this was helpful for getting a better sense of it.

Best,

Daniel
