To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.hornav ul.menu ul .parent-indicator {

    top: 10px;

    position: relative;

}

.hornav > ul > li > ul, .hornav > ul > li > ul > li > ul, .hornav > ul > li > ul > li > ul > li > ul {

  left: 100%;

}

Chrome tested, is like Firefox.
