Hi all,

I'm using the Lifestyle template and I added animation to some of the images. But they are flickering...

Whenever I refresh the page, I can see the whole image for a split second and then the animation starts. I've already tried disabling the caching but with no success.

Anyone any thoughts? Here's the link: http://www.terracoach.nl

First page already has an animated image.

Thanks!

Hi,

Found the 'problem'... The picture is first being build and then hidden so it can appear again with an animation effect. However... I have the picture already in sight when the page loads, causing me to see the picture being build!

This looks like it's flickering but it's not. Nevertheless, too bad for this side effect.

Hi Robert

Yes is can be a problem if animating an image already in the viewport when the page loads. Images further down page usually have loaded by the time you have scrolled to them. You could try reducing the size of your image to decrease load time. You could also try adding the following attribute to your image which will put a delay on the animation...

data-wow-delay="5s"
