I'm using Amelia and I really like it! Thank you.

I have a question about the background image. I would like mine to show up as a fixed image in the bottom right corner. Right now it is there but, only shows if I scroll down past the template (some part of it, I don't know the right terminology). I probably need to put it in a different position but I don't know which one.

Also, can I add the background image to the fixed sidebar in Amelia? I might do that instead of the site background if it is possible. It could also be bottom right but in the sidebar.

Lastly, I would like to know about the header. Can I increase the size of my logo image? Is that available in the template or do I need to find CSS for it?

My questions may seem simple but I am new to Joomla and still a bit lost in modules and having settings doubled in articles and menus.

Overall, I am very glad I bought Amelia, template. It has so much better control over the site style than anything else I have tried. :)

Hello

1. Would you have a URL to an example of your website with the background image?

2. One option is to use the Module Style Overrides option to style your module position. For further detail on this have a look at the following... https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/template-parameters/module-style-overrides

3. Would you have a URL to an example of your logo within the template?

My site is http://laurabrown.ca/joomla/

At the moment the background image is not showing at all. I have it set in the base background image position. Which position should it be in? Or which should I set for the override?

Before installing the template I had the image working with an extension called BgMax. I thought it would just stay working. It is in the debug position for that extension. But, I don't think that would be the problem, if anything I would expect to have the image show up twice instead of not at all.

Also, what CSS should I add to add weight (thickness) to the general site font? I'm having a hard time reading the light/ thin font. I can look this up but thought I would ask while I'm here.

Hello

The base modules background image will only appear if you have a module enabled in this position (eg. base-1a). Would you have a URL to the image you wish to add to your background? We could possibly apply to your background with some custom CSS.

To amend the font weight, try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

p {
font-weight: 400;
}
