Hi Ciaran
I'm finishing off my build at the moment but I wonder what you recommend to replace the old carousel which worked with Kinvara and other templates please?
Please see attached screenshot of my Kinvara build from a couple of years ago - there are two versions of your carousel on here - the first just displays the two boxes detailing different priorities - it just sits there but it's great because it's responsive and gets the message across succinctly.
The second displays a picture with a few words underneath and links to the article in question
I don't think there's anything bundled with Skylar that can do these jobs - if there is, please let me know?
As always, I look forward to your advice
Liz

Thanks Ciaran,

You know, I'd presumed that I couldn't use it as I'd loaded it up into that corrupt version and it didn't work - it was before we discovered the corruption and I presumed that you'd moved on a la LayerSlideshow Lite.

Anyway, we've had another go this afternoon and it's all working now, many thanks for your advice

Hi Liz

Some of the bundled modules with your template include a carousel option (eg. J51-News), however there nothing that allows you to place custom content inside a carousel similar to the J51 Carousel module. Having said that, I can think of no reason why the Carousel module from the Kinvara template can not be used with the Skylar template. Have you tried it? Is it suitable?

Sorry, when I say "article" in the penultimate sentence, I'm talking about a .pdf whitepaper or a landing page for a download, not a Joomla! article
