Hi guys.
First: I'm german and i have a bad english speaking - sorry for that. Google helps me to translate... ;)

I'm developing my first Joomla site with your great J51 nocturne template. I used a local LEMP installation.

Later, using the add-on "Akeeba backup" I was able to successfully upload the site to my hoster. But now there is a problem with the layout.

I use the S-C-S layout. But online "contenttop-a" is under "sidecol-a" and "sidecol-b" (see Screenshot_online.jpg). Not between "sidecol-a" and "sidecol-b" as it would be correct (see Screenshot_local.jpg).

The local installation does not have this error, and I do not know what happened. Can you help me to analyze this problem?

The site is "kb.lobetal.de" and is still in development.
Thank you!

Joomla version is 3.3.3

Hello

Have you since removed the content of your site? Checking the URL provided brings us to a blank Joomla installation.

Hi Ciarán !
Thank you very much for your answer.

I'm sorry that I have the page removed and reinstalled. I later read about problems when trying to move a Joomla site between two different versions of PHP. My local installation has version 5.5.9, my hoster use version 5.3.10 (the mimimum for Joomla). Maybe here the problems arose.
"Akeeba Backup" already warned me about it, but I ignored it at first.
Now, after manually reinstalling Joomla & J51 Nocturne at my hoster, these problems no longer occur (see kb.lobetal.de again).

Perhaps it would have been interesting to investigate the cause of these problems exactly. But unfortunately I do not have currently the time. I'm sorry for that.

But thank you again.

Oh no... the problem is back again... :unsure:

EDIT 1: First I disabled the googlemap-plugin and the pgk-xmap plugin, but again the content (contenttop) is under sidecol a and b.

EDIT 2: If i disable all sidecol-b modules, the content is right from sidecol-a - that's correct. But if i activate sidecol-b-modules again, the content is again under both sidecols.

EDIT 3: I delete all sidecol-b modules and create a new one, only with some numbers and letters. The same problem. What happen here? :huh:

If the content is short enough (a few words), it is between both sidecols!
I dont remove this site again. ;)

That is rather strange. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Wolfram.. this morning we could log in with both sets of access details :huh: :)

I found a solution to your issue by adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

#content_remainder {
width: 50%;
}

I wasn't able to figure out the source of the issue. The above should be set by the template however in this case it is not. I can't say for sure but it may be related to the PHP settings on your server but that is just a guess. It is an issue I haven't seen before.

Note that you will have to change the above CSS if you edit the side column widths. At present your side column widths are set to 25 and 25 so 100 - 25 - 25 = 50. If you are to changed these to say 20 and 20 then it would be 100 - 20 - 20 = 60 (width: 60%). I hope that makes sense! :)
