Add Social media Google+ to J51 presence template

Hello,
I was wondering whether anyone could help out. I have someone who wants to add Google+ to his website (built around the J51 presence template).
Easy, I thought... There is a special section 'social media' that comes with this template.
However, when I try to add the code below into the field "Google url", nothing happens

https://plus http://google.com/114780277892470794912/

What am i doing wrong, or is this simply not possible??
