We have an image in our slideshow module that we would like to make linkable to a different page on the site. In other words, when someone clicks on one of the images in the slide slideshow, it will take them to a different page on the site. Is this possible, and if so, how? FYI, the template used is J51 Alexis.

An even better alternative would be to set up the text like in the attached image from the demo. How was the text (outlined in red) added to the slideshow module?

Here's a link to our test site that displays the slideshow:

Hi Frank

Sorry to say the slideshow module included does not include an option to link individual images. It may be worth considering using a 3rd party slideshow extension in its place with this feature available. For a full list of slideshow extensions available for Joomla check out http://extensions.joomla.org/category/photos-a-images/slideshow

A text displayed below the slideshow on our template demo is created using the 'J51 Carousel' module included with your template. This module was placed in the top-1a module position with a single column and interval speed matching the slideshow.
