Good day
I've purchased the Grace template a while back and designed a website for a client that was up and running with no issues. However, in the last week, my client wants to edit the site, but cannot access the backend. I tried from my side (as admin), but am having the same issue. It allows me to enter the username and password but takes me to a blank screen. On doing a bit of research I found that it could be a PHP issue. Is this correct and could you assist me in solving the issue. The website in question is http://www.environgaka.co.za
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

Admittedly this would not be a template related issue so I may not be the best person to assist. Have you recently made any changes to your server setup (eg. updated PHP to a newer version)?

Hi Ciaran

I understand that it is not a template related issue, but are you able to let me know how I fiind out what version of PHP the Grace template is using. And if the host has updated the PHP version, would it cause me to not have access to the backend?

Hi

No it's not the same issue. The frontend of the website is displaying perfectly, but when trying to access the backend I just get a blank white page with no errrors displaying. I've searched the internet for answers and it seems like a PHP issue, that is the reason for me asking what version of PHP the Grace template uses and if the host company has updated their version of PHP it would have an effect on accessing the backend.

My apologies, I should have read your initial post.

Do you know what version of Joomla you have installed? A possible cause is your Joomla version is not compatible with your version of PHP.

The only other extension that can affect your administration like this is a plugin. Did you have many plugins installed?
