i have just one style chosen for testing - i can only change the menu membership with an effect,
the same issue at your free classic theme, if just delete and reinstall the resonate template,
if done it on a local MAMP Istallation - it works fine.....

i found the bug - it was in the other template framwork:
Fix Can not save settings of Joomla default or 3rd-party templates
Fix bug mega menu not show if a menu item has Menu Item Type is Fontpage virtualmart
Update style id field in megamenu table when install sample data

after the bug-fix update it works!
