showcase height in Nadia template-home page

I tried
.showcase {
height: 250px;
}

which did not work. Home page -The area with the black leather I believe is the showcase. It is currently about 350px. Suggestion please.

Hello

Presuming I understand you correctly you wish to remove some of the vertical padding on the carousel text? You will find an option for this available within your carousel module settings.
