I am having a problem with Serenity.
In template styles/ Header Styling, when I set Header Slide Min-Height to 0 px (because I have chosen not to use that image on 100+ pages), any module that is at the top tucks itself under the logo and is covered up. When I set it to 175px, which allows my Top-1 to be seen, the Showcase module has a very large space at the bottom of it (which looks like about 175px has been added). When I take the 175 px off the Header Slide Min-Height and set it smaller, the showcase slider looks fine, but any other module gets tucked under the logo. So now I have it set at 175px and the slider in the showcase area just looks odd.
URL: https://fccpsd.org/ shows slider with large space under.

https://fccpsd.org/conference-2017/register-and-pay.html shows what it looks like with 175px height for Header Slide Min-Height. The buttons are in the Top1 and Top2 positions a-f. When the min height is decreased, the modules get closer and closer to the logo until it's underneath it.

Also, the padding around my logo image is really too large but I cannot think of how to make that white area smaller. I'd like to increase the logo image and decrease the white space surrounding it.
Thank you for taking care of all our issues. You sure keep busy with this!

Hi Dawn

If you have no intent to use the template header slider then the best option is probably to add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters which will disable the slider completely...

#container_header {
position: relative !important;
}
#container_header_slide {
display: none;
min-height: 175px;
}

To remove the padding from around your logo you can also add the following...

.logo {
padding: 0;
}

Thank you, Ciarán. The padding options worked for the Serenity logo, but in the end I did like the default better. That was easy. The other issue, however, continued, even with your CSS coding. And the problems grew more serious. I removed all extra CSS code and tried putting in the template header. It ended up BELOW the showcase position when I had a slider in showcase on some inside pages. There were other issues such as stuttering on slide transitions. I decided that somehow the template was in conflict with something on my site, an extension or whatnot. I tried London and suddenly everything worked. I just had to modify some padding in the Top area and all was fixed. The sliders work, the images are fine, there is nothing out of place. I don't know what went wrong with Serenity. I like it well enough, even better than London, but I'll use London until something newer strikes my fancy. I wonder if the newer London modules were in conflict with Serenity. Be that as it may, I am happy, :D and appreciate the help.

Thank you for the update.. all is well that ends well! :)

Using modules from other templates can possibly cause some issues as we generally tailor each module specifically for the template it is bundled with. This is not ideal and we hope to come up with a more stable solution shortly.
