I have added the columns-3 class to my parent menu item and this works fine. However, I need to display subheadings within each column with the menu items below each subheading as shown here (About Us is parent menu item):

https://www.sandwichpld.org/about-us/ordinances-policies/foia

Here is the page using the Magnolia template - menu items are shown to the right of the subheadings:

Is this possible with the template, or should I continue to use the menu module shown in the first link?

Yes, I made some changes. In addition to the separate mega menu module in the hornav module position, I also added a regular menu module in the hornav position. I then added the following to the custom CSS:

.hornav ul.menu { display: none;}

This hides the J51 menu and displays it for the mobile version. If there is another way I should be doing this, please let me know.

Hello

Checking the URL provided, your menu module's mobile version appears to work without issue.

Yes, it does. I have disabled the mobile option for our menu. Now, the J51 mobile menu displays but the submenu items do not. Clicking on the arrows does nothing:

Hello

Does you menu module have its own mobile version? It appear that it may be clashing with that of the template.

I am using a separate menu module and I have changed my template to Layla. I have selected Yes for "Convert to Module Position (hornav)" in the Menu Settings. This displays the separate menu module, but the mobile menu is not working properly:

Hello

I am sorry to say that by default this type of dropdown is not possible with any of our templates. Although you create multi-columns, it is not possible to define where the menu items wrap to the next column. I will have to suggest using your menu module.
