Hi there,

I've been using your Numbers plugin on a Joomla 3 site and am now upgrading to Joomla 4.

Unfortunately, the new version is causing an error:
Deprecated: htmlspecialchars(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in /home/customer/www/http://j4.girlguidingsouthwest.org.uk/public_html/modules/mod_j51numbers/mod_j51numbers.php on line 23

You can see it on this page:
http://j4.girlguidingsouthwest.org.uk/about-us/our-region

I'd be really grateful for you help :)

Many thanks
Leila

Many thanks Ciaran! I appreciate your help, it does indeed work on the development site.

However, I need to replicate it on the live site... I have copied the modules/mod_j51numbers and media/mod_j51number folders but unfortunately the module doesn't show up on the page. Is there something I'm missing?

Best wishes
Leila

Hi Leila

Could I ask you to trying the module override from the dev site to your prod site (../templates/[YourTemplate]/html/mod_numbers). Copy this entire folder to the same location.

Hi Ciaran

Sorry to ask, but can you help me out with this again? I still have not been able to make the module show on the page:
https://www.girlguidingsouthwest.org.uk/about-us/our-region

I'm now working on the live site, so I will send you a new login.

Many thanks

Thank you Leila

Your Numbers module appears to be now displaying correctly.

Hi Ciaran,

Can you place the overwrite in this forum, because I have the same problem.

Kind regards,
Emile
