Ciaran,

Another question for you on the same web site.

I am trying to follow the tutorial for Creating Multi Column Dropdown Menus but when I go to the parent menu item where I wish to have Multi Column Dropdown Menus and click on the Link Type there is no field for Link CSS Style as per the tutorial.

Can you please help?

Regards,

Gary

Hi Gary

What version of Joomla are you using? What is the menu item type?

Ciaran,

Joomla 3.8.11 and not exactly sure what you mean by "menu type" but they are just menu options to single articles.

Hi Gary

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Gary

My apologies. We recently changed the title of this field in Joomla (https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/19143). The field is now called Link Class.

I have updated the tutorial.

Ciaran,

Thanks for the clarification. The Link Class has been changed to "columns-2" however it doesn't change the dropdown display on my laptop - it still drops down as just 1 column. I am using the Chrome browser - does it work for you?

Gary

Hi Gary

Testing in both Firefox and Chrome your menu idropdown is appearing in 2 columns. Could you try giving your browser a full refresh (CTRL + F5).
