I'm not sure what the problem is, but -

Created a new Thumbs gallery module, placed in sidecol_2b which does display the images in a grid, but it's a basic grid.

The images are all the same without any 'hover' function to highlight an image and if you click on one it opens full page in the parent rather than a Lightbox.

I have tried a different module and also various settings, but it is always the same!

Any ideas please?

Thanks, Paul

Thank you :)

I have made some changes to how the module loads the filesystem library and it appears to be now working correctly.

If I could get some tests with other sites that are experiencing this issue on the attached update that would be much appreciated. If this resolves the issue in other environments then I will create a new version with the update applied.

Currently the site (it's a test site and running on my laptop!) is set up with -

Joomla 4.04
PHP 7.4
The Nina template is the updated one that was released
The gallery module is version 1.1 (not the 1.2)
The module seems to work as intended - I would like some control over the number of rows / columns, but it is working.
The 'missing folder.php' issue seems to be resolved.

Hope that helps?

Hello

There is no doubt that the issue exists however our problem is being able to replicate it.

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hi Chris

A fair question :) Although this update is titled 'mod_51thumbsgallery.zip', it is still the Joomla 4 install file. My apologies for the confusion.

Further update -

For some reason, the Thumbs Gallery has started working as expected on the laptop install (Joomla 4.0.3 plus latest version of module, PHP 7.4), BUT

online (also Joomla 4.0.3, PHP 7.4 and latest version of module) I get the error - Class'Joomla\CMS\filesystem\folder' not found

This is happening ONLY when I try to select the J51_ThumbsGallery.

Definitely confused! Joomla dashboard shows no errors!

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul

If you try re-installing the module via your Extensions Manager, does this resolve the issue? Ensure you are installing the Joomla 4 of the module.

Hi Ciaran,

I tried that - using the module that came with the updated version of the J4 Nina template. I deleted the original version before I did that too!

Strange I know,

Hi Ciaran,

This is quite strange - the error only happens with this module, although I don't have the same issue with the J4 install on my laptop.

I have re-installed the module and also re-installed the core files for Joomla 4.0.3 via the update option. I still have the same issue.

If you want to take a look at this the temporary admin user details are below. URL is also included. You can't break anything as this is a bare install
without any content as yet, except a media folder with six images that could be used to test the Thumbs Gallery module.

I know others have had a similar issue, perhaps this can help solve it.

Thank you Paul

That is certainly strange as it is an issue we are unable to replicate locally. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Extensions Manager (super admin) to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

May I ask does the following file exist in your Joomla installation?....

../libraries/src/Filesystem/Folder.php

If not could you try adding it (attached - unzip first)

If you are getting the Class'Joomla\CMS\filesystem\folder' not found error, try the following update instead.
