We would like to use a 2 column blog layout with the Kindle template, but in IE and FireFox, the columns overlap... and the images do not scale to fit the column.

Even in the 1 column layout, the images do not scale down in IE or FireFox.

Any suggestions?

I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like with a 2 column layout in Chrome (correct) and in IE (a mess).

Hello

It appears you have added a pull left bootstrap class to your images where there doesn't appear to be any need for it. This will effect your image resizing on some browsers. Removing this class should resolve the issue.

The images that show are the Intro/Full Article images set in the article. I didn't add any CSS to those and I haven't edited the images in the CSS files.

Can you be more specific as to which item I need to change?

I removed the "float: left" from the .pull-left class. It looks like the images resize now in IE for the single column... but the 2 column is still a mess.

Hello

You should not edit the bootstrap.css pull-left class as this will effect other elements of your site content that is using the the same class. The class should be removed from the actual image itself.

The HTML for you images look like this...

<div class="pull-left item-image">
<img itemprop="thumbnailUrl" alt="" src="/images/delux_single_queen.jpg">
</div>

To remove the pull-left class this should be changed to...

<div class="item-image">
<img itemprop="thumbnailUrl" alt="" src="/images/delux_single_queen.jpg">
</div>

I would strongly suggest reverting any changes made to your CSS.

I reverted the bootstrap.css and removed the pull-left from the php files.

It still doesn't scale photos into columns in IE or Firefox
