How to add modal for login leveraging Bootstrap?

Hi there,

Using Joomla 3.5.1 and want to add front-end editing via a login link in the footer of my site. Would like the login to be a modal.

I can't seem to get the integrated Bootstrap functionality to do a modal, let alone for the login. Could you provide some insight?

Hi Stephanie

By default this option is not available within Joomla however there is a number of extensions which would add this functionality. A popular option is.. http://extensions.joomla.org/extension/ot-lightbox-login

Ok, thank you.

Just thought I'd ask, because I see modal classes in the bootstrap.css inside the artisan theme.

So is there not a way to call them in the article for various things, or were you talking specifically about the login?

Sorry to say this option is not available. This particular modal CSS is used for the frontend editing feature within Joomla.
