To save space in my breadcrumb area I've been researching how to create a toggle search icon, much like the one you have here for the forum but not to open as wide as yours when you click the icon. I've found lots of code, but I have no idea how to input the html, then the css, then js,.. etc. Hope you can help..

Hello

There is a number of ways to add custom code to your Joomla installation but from a template perspective you can try using the Custom Code and Custom CSS fields of your template style settings. When adding JS to the Custom Code fields, ensure to wrap your code in script tags. For markup (HTML), you can use Joomlas custom modules.
