Afternoon Ciaran

Question re: the 3 column blog layout in Elvira...

All up and running but the image doesn't cover the full column width. Have tried with rescaled images but it doesn't fill the full column as on the demo template. Screenshot attached and link to the page below, can you help me?

Cheers!

Hi Shell

To amend you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.pull-left.item-image {
margin-right: 0;
}

Morning Ciaran

Tried it but it's pulling in the title aside the image rather than centring the image? Screenshot attached.

Hello

To amend you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your template settimgs..

.pull-left.item-image {
float: none;
}

Alternatively you can set the Image Float field to None for each of your articles.

Hi Shell

Firstly replace the previous CSS with the following...

.pull-left.item-image {
float: none;
margin-right: 0;
}

Second increase the size of your images as they are currently not wide enough to fill the width of your following text.

Thanks Ciaran, what dimensions would you suggest? I've tried this a couple of times.

Hi Shell

A min width of 360px should be sufficient .

Got one more for you Ciaran, sorry to be a pain!

When you're at the base of the page hovering over the 'news' section I've created. The title of the linked article pops up over the top menu and it cuts the menu from being full page width, screenshot attached...

Cheers

Hi Shell

Just wondering have you since been able to resolve this issue as we are currently unable to replicate (Chrome & Firefox).. https://screenshots.firefox.com/cVRSj09VwIN3718l/collett2018.users.ds60213.dedicated.interdns.co.uk
